John W. Hoyt, MD, FCCM

Dr. John W. Hoyt received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, performed his residency in Anesthesiology at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia and did fellowships in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and the Naval Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Hoyt is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and has a certificate of Special Qualification in Critical Care. Dr. Hoyt has been active with the Society of Critical Care Medicine and served as President of the Society in 1996. He has over 30 years experience in critical care and has developed critical care services at many hospitals within the United States. Currently Dr. Hoyt is the President of Pittsburgh Critical Care Associates, Inc.
