Founded as a non-for profit in December 2011, INSPIRE CCM Board of Directors includes Critical Care professionals, patient family members, medical educators, and patient advocates.

Mehrnaz Hadian
Dr. Hadian is a board-certified internist and intensivist who has been practicing Critical Care Medicine since 2006. As a faculty intensivist she has practiced in the Intensive Care Units (ICU) at some of the leading tertiary care medical institutions in the country, including the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) in Los Angeles, California. In addition, she has had the experience of practicing ICU in some of the smaller community hospitals in different cities throughout the States of Pennsylvania and California. She is intimately aware of the strengths and weaknesses of different models of health care delivery in the ICUs of the country. Read more

Wiki Erickson has been in higher education for nearly twenty years as a Lecturer of Spanish at Baylor University and other academic institutions. Additionally she served for over seven years as a public board member and officer for the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, appointed by then Governor George Bush. She is now a lifetime member of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. Currently she is a professional interpreter and translator for various Texas agencies and entities. As an avid participant in volunteerism, community service and mentoring, Professor Erickson has served in numerous capacities in a vast array of civic, academic and social organizations at different levels. She is known for her leadership skills and commitment to a variety of causes and movements. Read more

Marianne has spent the past thirty years as a paralegal and legal assistant working for some of the most successful and highly respected trial attorneys in Los Angeles. Additionally, she has spent the past several decades involved in community volunteer organizations including fundraising for underprivileged children that live in the inner city; tutoring children that live in shelters; acting as an Ombudsman advocating for residents in long term care facilities; volunteer for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) at LA County USC Medical Center; visitor to patients at UCLA Medical Center; and she is presently a volunteer for the Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition. Kevin George grew up in Wales. After getting a degree in Engineering, he worked as a research and development engineer for a couple of years before embarking on a singing career that would eventually take him on an international adventure, and introduce him to a lifestyle and wonderful people he could only dream of as a boy growing up in a little Welsh village. After years of headlining as a cabaret entertainer, settled in California twenty years ago with his partner. Roberta Koffman
Dr. Koffman has a background in instructional development and curriculum design, which she has applied in medical settings at the University of Minnesota Dental School, Boston State College of Nursing, Brown University Medical School and Harvard Medical and Dental Schools. She has designed teaching materials and teacher training exercises for both faculty and students, and has taught both. In addition, she worked with a nursing home owner and staff while at Brown University. Dr. Koffman has always worked at the front edge of innovation in medical delivery, helping nursing staff move from disease to system based model of care at Boston State College of Nursing, developing a team based approach at Brown University, and creating the first web delivered curriculum at Harvard Medical School.
